Current Trends in Legal Translation and Interpretation in the World

Abstract

Dịch thuật pháp lý là một lĩnh vực mang tính liên ngành, ngày càng thu hút sự quan tâm của giới nghiên cứu trong và ngoài nước. Bài viết này sử dụng phương pháp phân tích chủ đề (thematic analysis) để xác định các xu hướng nghiên cứu dịch thuật pháp lý (bao gồm biên dịch và phiên dịch) trên thế giới. Dữ liệu được thu thập từ hơn 100 công bố học thuật có liên quan đến lĩnh vực này. Kết quả nghiên cứu cho thấy có bốn xu hướng chính: (1) nghiên cứu lý thuyết về dịch thuật pháp lý, (2) thách thức, (3) ứng dụng khoa học máy tính trong dịch thuật pháp lý, và (4) dịch thuật trong bối cảnh tòa án và lập pháp. Bài viết còn một số hạn chế như phạm vi ngôn ngữ chủ yếu là tiếng Anh, tính chủ quan trong phân loại chủ đề, và giới hạn ở số lượng tài liệu. Tuy nhiên, trên cơ sở khái quát và phân tích, bài viết đã đề xuất một số hướng nghiên cứu tiềm năng trong việc nghiên cứu dịch thuật pháp lý trong thời gian tới.
