Nghiên cứu thực nghiệm này nhằm mục đích khám phá tác động của phong cách lãnh đạo chuyển đổi đến sự sáng tạo của nhân viên và đổi mới tổ chức tại các doanh nghiệp ngành xây dựng trên địa bàn thành phố Hồ Chí Minh. Phương pháp nghiên cứu định tính và định lượng được áp dụng trong bài nghiên cứu. Dữ liệu được thu thập thông qua 375 phiếu câu hỏi khảo sát được phát trực tiếp đến các nhân viên và cán bộ quản lý thuộc 25 doanh nghiệp ngành xây dựng. Kết quả phân tích dữ liệu từ 327 phiếu khảo sát hợp lệ cho thấy, lãnh đạo chuyển đổi có ảnh hưởng tích cực đến sự sáng tạo của nhân viên và đổi mới trong tổ chức. Dựa trên những phát hiện này, tác giả đề xuất một số hàm ý quản trị nhằm giúp các nhà lãnh đạo nâng cao sự sáng tạo của nhân viên, góp phần đổi mới tổ chức và thúc đẩy quá trình phát triển bền vững của doanh nghiệp.
