Tóm tắt

Bài viết khám phá bối cảnh của truy cập mở (Open Access - OA) bao gồm nguồn gốc, sự phát triển và tình trạng hiện nay trong xuất bản học thuật. Nghiên cứu đem đến cái nhìn sâu sắc về OA, các thể loại và sự khác biệt của OA so với các mô hình đăng ký trả phí truyền thống. Bài viết đi sâu vào những ưu điểm và nhược điểm của xuất bản OA, đồng thời nêu bật các khác biệt về tỉ lệ OA giữa các ngành và khu vực địa lý khác nhau. Nhóm tác giả cũng phân tích các xu hướng và tiềm năng của OA; nhấn mạnh việc tất cả các bên liên quan trong xuất bản học thuật, bao gồm các nhà hoạch định chính sách, nhà xuất bản, nhà tài trợ nghiên cứu, chính phủ, thư viện và các hiệp hội trí thức... hiểu một cách toàn diện về OA là rất quan trọng. Điều chỉnh bản chất phức tạp của OA và thích ứng với sự thay đổi của khuynh hướng giao tiếp học thuật là vô cùng cần thiết.
